2023 - Water Infrastructure Development (Pouce)

Second Water Reservoir Completed in Pouce Coupe

Tristar recently completed the construction of an 80,000 m³ clay-lined water reservoir in the Pouce Coupe area, designed to meet a client’s growing development demands in the region. Spanning 6.9 hectares with dimensions of 120 x 145 meters and a depth of 8 meters, the project involved the excavation of approximately 75,000 m³ of earth. The reservoir provides a critical water management solution, supporting operational efficiency and long-term resource planning. This marks the second successful pit development Tristar has delivered for this client, further strengthening our role as a trusted infrastructure partner.

The first reservoir, constructed in the Valhalla area, delivered 102,000 m³ of storage capacity across 8.3 hectares, with dimensions of 150 x 160 meters and a depth of 7 meters. This project required over 163,000 m³ of excavation and included the installation of a 22,000 m² geomembrane liner for enhanced containment and environmental protection. Together, these projects highlight Tristar’s ability to tailor water infrastructure to specific operational needs while maintaining high standards of construction quality, environmental compliance, and client satisfaction.
