Hugh is a Gas & Petroleum Technologist with more than three decades of drilling leadership across the entire Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. His résumé spans every well type—from multi-well shallow-gas campaigns and 4,500 m critical sour-gas wells to under-balanced, long-reach horizontal multi-frac and coiled-tubing drills—along with conventional vertical programs. Before joining Tristar in 2008, Hugh managed drilling operations at industry majors including Dome Petroleum, Amoco Canada, Crestar Energy, Gulf Canada, Conoco Phillips, and Mahalo Energy.
